Chester Perfetto started his professional career in insurance in 1971. A small office in Sinking Spring has grown into an agency with 25 employees, now located in Wyomissing. Chet, a native of Reading, graduated from Reading High and Kutztown University. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1951 and served in the Korean War. As a Commissioned Officer of three different Naval Reserve units in Reading and Allentown, Chet became the Senior Officer at the Reading Naval & Marine Corps Reserve Center in Kenhorst. Chet also served 10 years on the Admiral Staff in Philadelphia, retiring in 1984.
After starting a family, Chet was a teacher for six years, ending his career as the principal of Wyomissing Hills Elementary School in 1961.
Chet’s first agency opened in 1971. The mission of the Chester Perfetto Agency was to become a broker of insurance, providing many options for its clients. And that is what the agency has accomplished over the years. Today, Chet’s agency is licensed with more than 100 insurance companies and sells all forms of insurance, including auto, home, business, life, securities, investments, travel, health and Medicare.
A regular on WEEU and BCTV, Chester Perfetto is well known for educating others on the topic he knows best: insurance.
