This February, we wish to remind our friends, family and colleagues about Women’s Heart Disease. The 2022 National Wear Red Day will be observed on Friday, February 4th. Every year, the first Friday of February has been dedicated to National Wear Red Day, setting it as an awareness day for American women to understand their number one health threat – heart disease. Heart disease claims the life of 1 in 3 women – more than all forms of cancer combined. It’s no longer just about wearing red; it’s no longer just about sharing heart health facts. It’s about all women making a commitment to stand together with Go Red and taking charge of our own heart health as well as the health of those we can’t bear to live without. Please join the ladies of PK in spreading the word and in ending heart disease and stroke in women.
