Upon moving to Exeter Township in 2014, Ann Marie Lander knew she wanted to make an impact on her community. After launching two successful small businesses, she decided to embark on an adventure serving one of the most favored desserts: ice cream!
The Cherry on Top opened in the fall of 2019, kicking off at the Exeter Township Harvest Day. Over the past two years, Ann Marie’s dessert truck has been invited to serve at birthday parties, fundraisers, showers, school functions, corporate events and weddings…pretty much anywhere ice cream is desired. Towards the end of 2020, Ann Marie purchased a commercial lot in Exeter Township off of Shelbourne Road, where she has parked The Cherry on Top dessert truck and opens it to the public when she’s not serving at private parties.
Ann Marie hopes that throughout 2022, other food trucks and small businesses will join her on her property in a joint effort to bring together community members and to offer something different and fun to her township. The truck schedule can be found on the website, as well as on social media.
