Tom Bachman, a lifelong tradesman focused on home improvement, founded Bachman’s Building and Remodeling in 1972. As soon as his son, Eric, could swing a hammer, he joined the company to form a father-son team, and they shifted their focus to roofing. The duo quickly filled their schedule as word spread about the Bachmans’ honest work and dedication to fine craftsmanship. Tom took a backseat after an injury sidelined him, and Eric’s mother, Tina Niven, and brother, Peter Niven, joined to support the growing business. Today Eric’s son, Cody, carries on the father-son tradition as a foreman.
The company has experienced significant growth in recent years, adding commercial roofing and remodeling services along with a bevy of staff members, a/k/a honorary Bachmans. While residential roofing, gutter and siding installations are the backbone of the company, Bachman’s is a full-service residential and commercial contractor with certified installers specializing in roofing, home remodeling and storm claims.
