Do you think the perfect way to start a Sunday is to meet friends and family for brunch? Then we would get along just fine!
I recently had the pleasure of attending a Surprise Birthday Brunch party at The Knight’s Pub at Stokesay Castle. And let me tell you, the brunch buffet available was delightful. I think I may still be full and I didn’t even try everything!
The ambience is magnificent. And the buffet choices were abundant. I’d say there is no way you could leave hungry. There is a chef on hand at a build-your-own-omelet station. He’ll also whip up a delicious Belgian waffle for you. And there are multiple toppings to choose from. Add to that pastries, soup, a salad bar, smoked salmon with capers and probably 5 to 6 hot lunch items including dishes like baked ziti, tilapia with rice, a stir fry medley, pork loin with mashed potatoes and chicken pot pie. And of course to go with your omelets they have delicious home fries, sausage and bacon as a complement!
Just when you think you’ve had enough, you can’t resist the fabulous dessert section. Cakes, pies, cobblers, eclairs, cream puffs, brownies – all delish!
And what brunch would be complete without a mimosa or a bloody mary? They’ve got multiple choices here, too. How about a princess mimosa? It’s made with cranberry juice & champagne cocktail. Who doesn’t want to feel like a princess sipping a mimosa at a castle for goodness sake?!
From the delight on friend’s faces at this lovely brunch I can guarantee I was not the only one impressed. Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think.
Cheers!
