Or maybe I should say “On the Podcast” really. At BCL, Nikki Murry, editor, and I record a few monthly podcasts each month called Berks County Living LIVE giving listeners a “Behind The Scenes” look at what goes into each issue. They are great fun to record. In fact, so fun, I am now doing another weekly podcast series for The People Chronicles called “Here’s What Happening” with Toni Reece and Brad Weisman. We give listeners the inside track on what’s happening around town each weekend. I think one of my pet peeves is hearing people say “There’s nothing to do around here.” Trust me, there is so much to do, the real problem is finding time to do it all! You’ll have to listen each week to hear about all the great things. There are so many, we can’t even get through them all!
I’ve discovered through this recording podcasts journey, that secretly, I’m dying to be on the radio. Put a microphone in front of me and I can’t stop talking. Now, listening to myself talk is another story. I cringe hearing my voice and feel bad for others who have to listen to it – but what am I going to do?! That’s what I sound like apparently, maybe just not in my head.
So, each week, I’ll include a link here to check out the weekend show. You’ll definitely be able to tell we have a great time recording them!
