It’s Oktoberfest in July! Join The Humane Society of Berks County as the organization hosts its 8th annual Pints for Pups Beer Tasting & Festival at the Reading Liederkranz on July 27 from 4-7pm.
Pints for Pups is Berks County’s only dog-friendly beer tasting event to benefit people and animals in the most in-need parts of Reading and Berks. All proceeds raised at the event will help to fund mobile veterinary intervention and pet retention and care efforts in impoverished and underserved areas.
Pints for Pups is an event where having a beer not only tastes good, it does good! Enjoy beverages from Weyerbacher, Lancaster, Stone and other breweries courtesy of event sponsors Ronald W. Bair, Jr. CFP®, Buy Rite Beverage and All Star Distributing. Guests will be treated to a buffet of German and Pennsylvania Dutch foods as well as German-American music by The Adlers.
Human guests must be 21 or older. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. General admission is $40; VIP passes with access to an exclusive tasting hour are $75. Designated drivers can be arranged for $20. All guests receive a commemorative pint glass featuring art by Adrienne Trafford. Reserve your passes at shop.berkshumane.org or by calling 610.921.2348, ext. 11.
