Biodiversity Exploration is a day camp experience for older children that meets 4 Monday afternoons. Amanda Wolfgang, a certified high school AP Biology and Biology teacher, will be leading campers through an engaging exploration of the biodiversity in Rock Hollow Woods and the surrounding areas.
Campers will explore Rock Hollow and learn about biodiversity, energy flow in ecosystems, human impacts on ecosystems, and ecosystem preservation/restoration. Campers should be prepared to spend time outside collaborating and engaging in critical thinking activities.
Campers will receive a Rock Hollow Woods t-shirt the first day of camp.
Appropriate for students sixth through ninth grade.
