Philadelphia resident and Albright graduate Chris Davis ’04 has achieved critical success as an actor and playwright for his one-man, touring shows, including: “One-Man Nutcraker,” “The Last Emperor of Mexico, One-Man Apocalypse Now,” “Juan-Winfield,” “Drunk Lion,” “Violence of the Lambs,” and “Bortle 8,” which Davis will make its Berks County debut featuring actor Keith Connellan. A search for darkness in an age of artificial light, “Bortle 8” goes from the depths of the ocean to the reaches of the galaxy in hopes of finding the last untouched place on Earth. Consumed with his failed relationships and an unshakable need to find total darkness, our hero begins his journey to find a place where you can see all the stars, and in the process, discovers his own personal light and true darkness within.
