Eroica on the Mountain

Berks Sinfonietta has partnered with Hawk Mountain to bring annual cultural performances to the Sanctuary, its members and guests, and surrounding residents.

Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2 pm, audiences will enjoy a live performance in the beautiful outdoor amphitheater. On the program are:

A Suite of Psalms -- Jill Haley, a native Berks County composer

A Mountain Day -- Greg Holmes, a work commisioned for this performance

Symphony No. 3 "Eroica" -- Ludwig van Beethoven

This program is made possible thanks to a generous sponsorship by Dr. and Mrs. Barton Smith and Dr. and Mrs. William I. Smith, Jr. and is in memory of long-time friend and member Matthew Spence.

Limited seating; attendees may bring their own folding chair. Light refreshments will be provided and a live raptor guest follows the performance.

Rain date will be Sunday, June 11, also at 2 pm.
