Woods, Water and Wildlife is a one-week day camp that meets five afternoons. During the one week, Jean McCarney, an elementary and special education teacher and Rebekah Sheeler, an Environmental Education Specialist, will engage youth campers in a variety of outdoor activities that utilize the natural environment of Rock Hollow Woods’ 77 acres. Campers will explore natural habitats contained in and around fields, woods, and streams. Woods, Water, and Wildlife campers will engage in hands-on exploration, hiking, art projects and storytelling. Activities will include: creek exploration, woodland creations, swamp study and more.
Campers will receive a Rock Hollow Woods t-shirt the first day of camp.
Appropriate for children entering 2nd through 7th grades.
