12. Visit PA History.
Visit the site of Daniel Boone’s birth: The Daniel Boone Homestead. Get a glimpse of the community that formed in the Oley Valley during the colonial period through exhibits, programs and tours.

13. Support Local Farmers.
For fresh produce and homemade products, visit the Antietam Valley Farmers’ and Artists’ Market July 26 or Aug. 23 (with dates running through December) from 5-7pm. Each month carries a theme. July is “History of Carsonia Park and the Antietam Area” and August is “Back to School.”
