Why do you think you were the top vote-getter in our Pet Photo Contest? Well, obviously because I’m super cute, but also because my daddy obsessed over this contest and told everyone to vote for me. He kept telling people he wanted to make me a star!
If you had a job, what would it be and why? Um, hello! I do have a job. My daddy forces me to work at The Art Room in West Reading. He says I’m a co-owner, yet doesn’t allow me to chew on any of the paint brushes. You can catch me there daily, greeting everyone who walks through our doors. If you come visit, please bring doggy treats (daddy tries to limit me lately).

How did you and your owners meet? My parents picked me from a listing they saw on Matchdog Rescue's website. In my previous life, I was a way-too-skinny street dog living in Northern Mexico. Matchdog Rescue saves dogs like me from Southern Texas and Mexico and brings us to the east coast to be adopted. I am so lucky I was found by them! I got to meet my new family in March of 2020 and I've been treated like a queen ever since!

What makes you special? Says Wynk’s mom, “Don’t tell this trio they were born with disabilities. They sure don’t act like it. The pups were finalists in the photo contest because they have a story to tell. Two have vision impairments, and Nod has a cardiac defect. They will all live amazing lives because their breeder did the right thing and called Brindle Buddies Rescue. The pups are a result of breeding two merle dogs together. The recessive genes caused their birth defects. They are the lucky ones. They were placed in rescue!

What are your most appealing characteristics? My charismatic charm coupled with the fact that I'm a cute pirate with one eye – it gets me out of trouble all the time! I have a very approachable, dog-like personality, and just want to be friends with everyone I meet.

If you had a job, what would it be and why? If I had a job, I could be a professional sleeper and dog bed tester. I have an impeccable skillset for this line of work and could quickly move into management.

How do you spend your time? I love playing ball and taking long walks with my humans and brother, Winston. My most favorite thing to do is walk by my boyfriend’s house. His name is Prince and he’s super dreamy. I think I love him.

Siblings: A brother, Sammy, and two sisters, Jackie and Muffin. They bother me sometimes.
How do you spend your time? If I'm not sitting on the cat condo in the sunroom, I'm running around the house. I do have a favorite brown mouse that I like to take with me. My other favorite thing to do is get into my mom's napkin holder and tear them into shreds. But I only do this at night when they're not looking.
