If you have a daycare attendee, a preschooler or even a grade school-aged child, you're likely no stranger to the piles of precious artwork your little one brings home. Instead of putting the pieces aside in a box or in a desk drawer, we offer up some ideas for showcasing your son or daughter's favorite masterpieces. The only downside? You'll wish you would have thought of them earlier.
Frame it.
Picture and photo frames come in a variety of shapes and colors and could even be considered art themselves in some cases. More vibrant frames could be great options for more subtle artworks.
Go digital.
Who doesn't have a cellphone or digital camera capable of taking great photos nowadays? Snap images of your child's creations and then load them into a digital frame, or consider making an art book with a photo service such as Shutterfly.
Some fancy tacks and pins and a corkboard come in handy here. You might even want to monogram your make-shift frame with your child's initials.
Clip it.
A clipboard or a line with clothespins hanging multiple artworks are good ideas. These also offer easy options for switching one piece out for another.
