5 Ways to Welcome Fall

Autumn, our cool friend, has swept into town. Yellows, reds and oranges light up the landscape. As you stroll through the crisp leaves along the sidewalk, embrace the change. Refresh yourself and your home with these five picks. Fall in love with this transitional season all over again.

1 Dazzling Décor.

Greet your guests with a vibrant salute to fall. Deep red hydrangeas echo the color of the turning leaves. Sunflowers add pops of sunshine to cool days. Berries, artichokes and pomegranates highlight the bounty of the harvest season. Crafted with life-like flowers, this eye-catching wreath will look stunning all season long.

Fall Wreath, $159, Spayd’s Greenhouses, Nursery & Floral Inc., 3225 Pricetown Rd. Fleetwood, 610.929.2026. spayds.com

2 Dynamic Denim.

Build your fall wardrobe around a classic. Distressed details reflect the latest fashion trends and give this denim jacket a timeless, lived-in look. Whether paired with a dress or your favorite tee, it will add a layer a warmth and a depth of style. Let creativity be your guide.

3 Go Undercover.

A cozy blanket is a fall essential. Lightweight and warm, this soft mohair and acrylic blend comes in a variety of colors, including a plaid palette of earthy brown, chestnut and creamy white. Cuddle up with a good book (or even the latest BCL), watch a movie, or cheer on your favorite football team.

4 Style Statement.

Fashion and function combine in these versatile scarves by local artist Brenda Wilton. Choose your look: elegant silk or fuzzy mohair. Add a touch of color, or select a neutral shade to complement any outfit. Either way, you’ll enjoy the luxurious feel of soft material on a breezy fall day.

5 Sip the Season.

Spend a leisurely morning with fall’s signature drink: the pumpkin spice latte. Inhale the scent of freshly roasted coffee beans. Tickle your taste buds with a blend of triple bean espresso, steamed milk and pumpkin spice syrup. Top it off with homemade whipped cream for added deliciousness.

Pumpkin Spice Latte, small $4.90, medium $5.76, large $6.35, Max Crema’s, 3130 Pricetown Rd., Fleetwood, 610.898.9001. maxcremas.com
