Recipe: Apricot Old-fashioned
Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces bourbon
- 1 ounce apricot liquer
- ¼ ounce simple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Fresh apricot slice
- Ice cubes
Tools Needed:
- Mixing glass
- Bar spoon
- Muddler
- Jigger
- Strainer
- Old-fashioned glass
Instructions
1. In a mixing glass, muddle a fresh apricot slice with simple syrup.
2. Add ingredients: pour in the bourbon, apricot liqueur and bitters.
3. Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir gently for about 30 seconds.
4. Strain the mixture into an old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.
5. Garnish with an additional slice of fresh apricot.
