Beth Garrigan

CEO Safe Berks

Beth Garrigan is the CEO of Safe Berks, the agency in Berks County that supports survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Since 2020, Safe Berks has significantly expanded its services to meet the growing needs of our community. Most recently, Safe Berks added a Crisis Services Department and Case Management Department to provide enhanced wrap-around support services for survivors and is currently expanding its shelter bed capacity. These services are critical and save lives, but despite the growing numbers of survivors seeking services and the increased costs to support service delivery, funding has remained the same and/or been reduced. To support these critical needs, Safe Berks is generating additional unrestricted revenue with events like the upcoming Celebration of Peace being held on February 20.
