Bridget Holleran Coe is the owner of Baja Beach Tanning Club. She started her career 15 years ago working for Baja part-time while in high school and fell in love with the tanning industry and the relationships she built with her clients.
Bridget joined the ownership team in 2016 and began to expand Baja Beach to include Slim Body Beauty Spa at the Wyomissing salon, which offers wellness services and spot fat reduction. In October of 2020, she became the sole owner of the four Baja Beach Tanning Clubs in Berks County: Sinking Spring, Wyomissing, Laureldale and Mt Penn.
“My goal is to see that every customer leaves the salon feeling better than when they came through the door. Whether you are popping in for a quick tan, to spray tan for an event, to relax in the Cocoon Wellness Pod or to speak with one of our team members, Baja Beach aims to have you looking and feeling fabulous.”
Last February, Bridget opened the newest Baja Beach location in Laureldale, next to the AMC Movie Theater on 5th Street Highway. This 7,200-square-foot mega salon offers more than 30 units, including the Mystic Tan spray booth and the all new P9 tanning bed, which combines traditional tanning with red light therapy collagen boosting lamps for the ultimate relaxation experience. “We have been told that it’s the largest tanning salon in the country,” Bridget says. “Your mood will change as soon as you walk through the door. We wanted to bring the beach to Berks County, and I think we have accomplished that.”
The staff at Baja Beach is certified by the International Smart Tan Network. Asserts Bridget, “Education is so important. I’m very grateful for my staff. They are knowledgeable and take customer service as seriously as I do.”
Baja Beach Tanning Club’s annual Free Tan Weekend is March 9-13 at all Berks County locations.
