You might know Ed for wearing many different hats. Ed opened Stauffer’s Seafood in 1981 and grew his business over the next 25 years. Ed’s passion is cooking, and he has catered many events in the area. He was also instrumental in bringing sushi classes to the Berks County area.
Always looking to give back, Ed helps serve at the Hope Rescue Mission, Opportunity House and on different Mission trips. He's also supported the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the fight against cystic fibrosis and the work of the Children's Miracle Network, and he was a sponsor for the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. Ed is very active in his church at West Lawn UMC and also oversees the Kitchen Ministry.
In 2006, Ed started selling real estate for RE/MAX of Reading. Despite the real estate market at the time, Ed sold 23 homes his first year. After 11 years in the business, Ed is one of the top agents at RE/MAX of Reading, selling about $10 million in properties in 2016. Ed is also in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.
