In 2010, Eleny Zeppos moved to Berks with her husband, George, to fulfill dreams of opening their own business: a restaurant. Born and raised near Boston, Eleny graduated college with a degree in chemical engineering. After 10 years in her field, she and George decided to “re-invent” themselves. With a sales force and management team comprised mostly of women, Eleny, also the food and beverage director for the YR Club in Wyomissing, takes pride in the diversity of her restaurants. Not only is she proud of running locally owned, staffed, and operated restaurants (including owning two pure fire locations in Collegeville and West Chester), she’s also proud to contribute to many charities in Berks. The Hitching Post provides a classy, casual atmosphere, serving continental Americana cuisine. Willoughby’s on Park is Berks County’s premier fine dining steakhouse.
