Master Nominee Lauren Minnich is a Wyomissing native who has spent her life training in martial arts. At the age of 11, she began working toward her black belt, having no idea that martial arts would one day become her career. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration at Alvernia University and will achieve the title of Master Instructor with the American Taekwondo Association (ATA) this summer at their 51st World Championships. She has owned and operated her studio for seven years, and she feels it is her duty to give back to her community through service leadership. She is focused on empowering kids and adults to be their best self.
