Lords & Ladies Salon and Medical Spa owners, Terry & Lori Derr, are positioned for the future by implementing a franchise model and selling each of their seven salons to employees. The new franchise owners are among the most successful salon professionals in the company, not to mention great women, wives and mothers.
Jen Souder, Douglassville’s franchise owner and a 23-year L&L veteran, says, “I grew up at L&L and was trained by the best. Now I have the opportunity to own this well-respected business and mentor the next generation of salon professionals.”
Ashley Grande, Exeter’s franchise owner and a L&L employee for 20 years, has spent her life growing up in the industry with her father, the company’s founder, Terry Derr. “He had a vision of what this industry could be. He elevated the hairdresser to a professional stylist running their business within his. I’m proud to continue my father’s vision and legacy.”
Ashley Coccia, Fleetwood’s salon owner, has worked for L&L for 10 years. “As a second-generation hairdresser, I’m motivated to inspire women to become hairdressers and maybe L&L franchise owners themselves.”
Michelle Anton, Sinking Spring’s franchise owner, has worked for L&L for eight years. “I’m passionate about mentoring new stylists to master their craft.”
Amy Miller, franchise owner of the original L&L in Pottstown, with the company for 23 years, asserts, “Terry is an inspirational leader. I knew owning a L&L franchise would be an amazing opportunity.”
Kim Grillo, Perkiomenville’s franchise owner and 24-year L&L veteran says, “I am passionate about my career, connecting with my clients and making them feel special.”
Karen Sloane, franchise owner of the Gilbertsville salon and in management with L&L for 10 years, says, “I was a client before working for L&L. Now, I get to deliver the exceptional experience to my customers that I myself enjoyed.”
