It started as a dream…and became a family tradition. It was the dream of Patricia Skrip and her husband, John Skrip Jr., to live off of the land by growing grapes and one day open a winery. That dream became a reality in September of 1985 when Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery opened their doors to the public. Patricia learned every aspect of the business by way of the school of hard knocks and was thrilled to see Clover Hill grow from one small vineyard to nearly 100 acres of vines and about 80,000 gallons of wine per year. In 2001, her youngest daughter, Kari, joined the business full-time after completing a graduate program at the University of Adelaide, Australia, in wine marketing. Kari had grown up in the business but was eager to bring new education to Clover Hill. Today, Patricia and Kari work with John Skrip Jr. and John Skrip III (Patricia’s son) and are proud to see Clover Hill continue to grow and remain a family tradition. Join Patricia and Kari in celebrating women in business and Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery. Cheers!
