Rob Fischer is executive vice president, regional chief lender officer at Customers Bank. In this role, he focuses on developing, maintaining and growing the commercial loan and deposit portfolio for the bank primarily within the Berks and Chester County markets. Fischer’s 22-year career started in community banking, with a focus on commercial lending over the past 18 years. Past roles include his tenure as senior vice president at Susquehanna Bancshares and, later, in the commercial banking group with VIST Financial, Inc. He is currently involved with the YMCA of Berks County (Sinking Spring advisory board), with Penn State Berks (advisory board) and as a councilman for Wernersville Borough.
Fischer is a graduate of Alvernia University, PA, and the Central Atlantic School of Banking via Dickinson University, PA. He also graduated with honors from the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking via Bucknell University. He currently lives in Wernersville, PA.
