Ryan Smith founded Inperium, Inc., one of the nation’s fastest-growing and most profitable non-profit human services organizations in January of 2016 and is Board President and Chief Executive Officer. Headquartered in Reading, Inperium, Inc. is a constellation company of non-profits and for-profits providing person-centric, health-related supports and other business services to the organizations it aids.
In his current position, Smith continues his efforts to expand upon his proven track record of developing, revitalizing and growing business enterprises. He utilizes his strategic planning and implementation strengths to guide and direct other enterprises through substantial changes in management with strong, effective leadership and an ongoing commitment to providing quality outcomes to all stakeholder representatives. Smith’s numerous and varied experiences have resulted in significant successes for the communities served by Inperium’s “Family of Services,” as well as for those employed by these entities. Smith has provided oversight of Inperium’s Family of Services growth, which has resulted in the expansion of a robust array of quality services to customers, financial diversity and strength, and affiliations that leverage resources to achieve quality results.
Prior to founding Inperium, Smith served as CEO of a Pennsylvania non-profit provider of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ryan is a frequent presenter at professional conferences on non-profit issues, mergers, acquisitions and affiliations, strategy and other business development topics. Smith is a proud graduate of Alvernia University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He was also recently presented with the Innovation Award by the Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association (RCPA) in recognition of leading the development of a significant innovative service in the health & human services field in 2019.
