Owner Dennis Hurst became interested in horticulture at a young age. His father started his own nursery in the 1970s and Dennis grew up helping with the family business before opening Ryeland in 2015. He says of the gardening, “It’s all about the joy of creation, the appreciation of beauty, and taking delight in what we’ve been given.
