Today we see people suffering from injuries, ailments and life traumas exacerbated by stress and anxiety. Yet evidence-based complementary modalities are not widely applied. Trained Professional Yoga Therapists (PYT) are a valuable resource to people and professionals by empowering meaningful self-care strategies. Sudha provides, teaches and trains others in the application of these strategies.
Sudha founded, with her husband Ed, the non-profit Kula Kamala Foundation & Yoga Ashram in Alsace, PA. The ashram offers a peaceful learning environment for aspiring teachers and students alike. Offerings include pay-what-you-can Yoga classes and retreats, professional trainings in Yoga and Yoga Therapy, holistic ministries, and the food4all cafeteria with vegetarian, gluten-free, wholesome food.
There is a purposeful wisdom for everyone in Yoga. The practical teachings of Yoga and Yoga Therapy state that mindfully caring for ourselves in body, mind and spirit elevates us away from suffering and toward peaceful unity. Yoga also teaches that happiness is directly related to our ability to experience health, unity, faith, love and compassion. Personal wellness allows us to recognize the wonders of awakening our consciousness as we open our hearts to happier, healthier living.
Become or sponsor a Yoga teacher in our training programs and empower complementary wellness services in the Berks County community.
