Weaver's Ace Hardware, owned by Ed & Christine Shenk, started in 1964 as a small farm supply store in Fleetwood. Today, Weaver’s has two locations in Berks, employs 60, and covers 36,000 square feet of retail space. The shelves are filled with 40,000 different products including lawn and garden items, Weber® grills, paint (Valspar® Optimus™, Clark+Kensington®, Benjamin Moore®), and Stihl® power equipment.
The company purpose statement is “Be Helpful To Everyone.” Its associates fulfill this in the way they interact with customers, keep needed product in stock, and offer helpful advice. Weaver’s strives to create a remarkable shopping experience for every customer that walks through the doors.
