Dr. Michael Balthaser is a Berks native, having graduated from Tulpehocken Area High School. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University School of Dentistry, where he graduated in the top 2 percent of his class with summa cum laude honors. This year marks Dr. Balthaser’s 10-year anniversary in private dental practice.
Dr. Balthaser is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), having achieved this distinction through advanced implant education and knowledge of advanced surgical and restorative protocols. He is trained in the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. He is also one of the few dentists in Pennsylvania to have completed the advanced training and licensing which enables him to administer IV conscious sedation to his patients in the comfort of his office.
Dr. Balthaser served as president of the Berks County Dental Society from 2010-2011. He also maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Berks County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In 2014, Dr. Balthaser was named one of the top 40 dentists under 40 years of age in the United States by Incisal Edge magazine. He has been named one of Berks County’s “Select Dentists” for 6 years running. Dr. Balthaser utilizes the most up-to-date techniques to rejuvenate your smile and keep you smiling for years to come. He treats children and adults and is always accepting new patients.
