Prioritizing Health
Our March issue gives a nod to personal health and wellness. That comes in all forms. It’s important to be well-rounded in our health efforts, considering physical, mental and emotional aspects equally.
On page 23 we remind you of the ABCs of health. It’s not to overwhelm you, rather to serve as a reminder that there is a little piece of the wellness puzzle you can tackle each day, bit by bit. It’s all about effort and making conscious choices.
A big topic in the nutrition field of late is gut health and how it can impact our bodies as a whole. Learn more about what a local expert has to say on the subject on page 37.
To that end, what we choose to put in our body is important — and Berks County has some great options for delicious, clean eats! We bring you three of them in our Dining Out article on page 50. We hope you’ll give them a try and tell them we sent you!
Need a bit of inspiration to get your body moving? Unsure what workout routine is the best fit for you? You might find some answers in our Living In Style feature on page 40. Berks resident and personal trainer Stephanie Grace shares her journey with fitness and gives a look inside her home gym in Douglassville.
Here’s to healthy living and longevity!
