How It Started
The now newlyweds met on Bumble, a dating app! They both swiped right and found the perfect match!
The Proposal
Recalls Crystal, “Cory proposed on Hole 4 at Golden Oaks Golf Club, a place that holds a very special meaning for us. Golf has always been his passion, and when I picked it up, it quickly became "our thing." After taking my swing and watching the ball sink into the water, I turned around to find him down on one knee. It was such an unforgettable moment!”
The Big Day
Crystal and Cory said their “I dos” at BLDG 24 in Wyomissing and were married by their dear friend, Ryan Hock, whose personality brought the perfect touch to their ceremony. Every detail of the wedding was thoughtfully chosen to hold a special meaning. In attendance were their parents, Promise and Richard Morris, and Bob and Carina Rance. Crystal wore a gown from Dressed In Love Bridal, West Reading, and the groom’s and groomsmen wore suits from Men’s Wearhouse in Wyomissing.
At the reception in the same location, attendees enjoyed a pizza buffet by The Works as pizza is Cory’s favorite food and the pair wanted to include their children in the big day as well as incorporate all of their loves. To that end, Sweet Ride Ice Cream was also on site with an ice cream truck providing dessert – ice cream being a favorite of Crystal’s. DJ Jumpin’ J of Blandon provided the tunes.
The newlyweds shared their first dance to an instrumental version of Zombie by The Cranberries, being that it was their favorite song to play while playing golf.
What was the highlight of the day? For Cory it was seeing his bride walk down the aisle.
For Crystal, she says, “It's so hard to pick because the day was literally perfect, but mine is during the ceremony, we shared a special family toast with our two beautiful children. Together, we raised our glasses to celebrate the unbreakable bond we’ve created and will cherish forever.”
The Honeymoon & Future Plans
The Rances, who reside in Fleetwood, took a short "mini moon" immediately after the Big Day to Lancaster and are still on their big getaway. As for the future, Crystal, Membership Director at Moselem Springs Golf Club, and Cory, Production Manager at Bloomsburg Carpet, plan to “continue nurturing the strong foundation we’ve built, while embracing life’s joys and adventures together as a loving family of four.”
