Senior Vice President and Vice President
The White & Lord Group at Morgan Stanley
The White and Lord Group at Morgan Stanley was formed over 8 years ago at the beginning of “The Great Recession.” Working as individual Financial Advisors, Tom and Adam realized there was never a time when clients needed more help navigating the economic and investment landscape. They set out to build a group within Morgan Stanley, combining their experience and resources to better serve investors. With a mandate to educate their clients in such a turbulent time, the team was able to double their practice within six years with the help of their Client Service Associate, Brooke Mish. This has allowed the group to expand recently with the addition of an Associate Advisor, Benjamin LaManna.
As a Financial Planning group, the focus of the team is to create investment plans and recommendations to help individuals and businesses reach their financial goals. The financial plans cover cash flow needs, debt management, and risk assessment in addition to the direct management of investment assets. Thomas White, Senior Vice President, began his career with Morgan Stanley in 1994 after attending the University of Pittsburgh. Adam Lord, Vice President, is a graduate of the University of Richmond and joined the firm in 2000. While professionally the group focuses on helping their clients, they are also very active in the community and work with the Olivet Boys and Girls Club, The Children’s Home of Reading, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Opportunity House.
