Another New Start
Happy 2025! As is customary for us each January, we kick off the new year celebrating love. Our Weddings issue highlights the coming together of families and couples in the name of adoration and devotion. What’s not to love about that? Meet the three Berks newlyweds chosen for this year’s issue starting on page 22.
If you’re planning your own wedding, know someone who is or even if you’re considering an event of another kind, you may find our reception guide on page 34 especially helpful. There are lots of options available to you right here in Berks.
Also in this month’s issue, if the gray of winter is getting to you, why not add a pop of color to your home environment? We have tips from local interior designers on how to do just that: from putting down a colorful throw rug to taking on a wallpaper project, painting cabinets and more. A little color really can go a long way. See how on page 40.
Finally, if you’re looking to warm your soul and treat your tastebuds, plan a trip to Kinya Ramen in Wyomissing. Want to learn more? Read all about it in our Dining Out article on page 46.
Oops!
In our December Best of Berks feature, we’d like to make some corrections. The superintendent of Manor Golf Club is Eric Krick. And From The Heart Consignment has raised more than $130,000 for the community—now nearing $140,000!
