Governor Wolf signed a bill Thursday, May 21, allowing the temporary sale of cocktail beverages from restaurants, bars and hotels with liquor licenses. While many residents have taken advantage of Berks County’s curbside food pick-up offerings, locals can now order to-go cocktails, too! Here's where you can get your favorite drinks to-go.
Anthony’s Trattoria in Pennside has unique cocktails to-go, including: a refreshing Watermelon Martini, Cynar Negroni, Cynar Americano Manhattan and Aperol Napoletano Martini.
Austin’s Restaurant & Bar in West Lawn has an extensive to-go cocktail menu, including: Lights on Lime Aid, Clearly Not a Cosmo, Covid Crush, Express Pineapple Express, Express Strawberry Pineapple Express, Lonely Island Iced Tea, and Mini or Mega Margaritas. Shake well, pour over ice and enjoy! All drinks (excluding the Mega Margaritas) are 12 oz. and equal to 2 drinks. The Mega Margarita is 64 oz., makes 10 drinks, and includes lime and salt for a little DIY Margarita Fun!
B2 Bistro + Bar West Reading has a new lineup of specialty cocktails ready for take-out. Each 32-ounce container serves 4 drinks over ice. Options include: B2 Kentucky Mule, Wild Berry Mojito, Summer White Sangria, Red Sangria, Twist My Arm, Chartreuse Gin Daisy and Pineapple Elderflower.
Bernville Eagle Hotel is offering Cocktails-to-Go, including: Covid Punch and Strawberry Margaritas.
Bldg 24 in Wyomissing has a limited quantity of take-home 32 oz. cocktail kits of The Letty Margarita featured on the cover of our May issue. The cocktail kit includes a pre-mixed bottle of fresh Margarita, chipotle lime salt for the perfect rim, and lime wheels for garnish.
Brewer’s Bar and Grill in West Reading has take-out mixed drinks in 14 oz., 24 oz. and 32 oz. jug cocktail sizes. Mixed drinks include Orange Crush, Coconut Bay Breeze and Mango Peach Paradise. Adult slushes are available in 14 oz. and 32 oz. jug size. Flavors include: Jamaican Me Happy and Truly Blue Raspberry. SLRRRP, alcohol-infused gelatin shots are also available for purchase.
Cheer’s American Bistro in Downtown Reading is offering their version of Summertime Take-out featuring frozen cocktail pouches to-go. Orders start at 4pm, pick-up only 5-9pm.
Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery wants to help quench your thirst with a Wine Slushie Kit. This handy kit for making your own wine slushies at home includes one bottle of Cayuga White, 1 package of Berry Pomegranate slushie mix and 2 stemless glasses. Available at all Clover Hill locations.

All drinks are available in 12 oz. and 16 oz. cups or 32 oz./64 oz. mason jars. Their weekly featured cocktails include: Cara Orange Crush, Blackberry Mojito Cooler, Creamy Orange Creamsicle, Mermaid Water and Tennessee Berry Mule. Ready to drink with ice. 32 oz. serves 3-4 cocktails; 64 oz. serves 6-8 cocktails.
Klinger’s of Fleetwood has a new Take-Out Cocktail Menu featuring 32 oz. cocktails. All cocktail and no ice, grab one on your way home, pour over ice in a glass and let Klinger’s do the mixing for you. The jumbo cocktails include: St. Germain’s Sparkler, Orange Blossom, Tequila Sorbet, Autoworks Lemonade, Purple People Eater, Carsonia Punch, Orange Crush, Tokyo Tea, Planter’s Punch and Sailor’s Lemonade. Reading Distilling Guild in Downtown Reading is offering 32 oz. of pure deliciousness in the form of Mojito and Orange Crushes to-go! You add the soda when you’re ready to drink, sip and unwind. They also have 64 oz. of mixed cocktails available, including: Rum Punch, Painkiller, Strawberry Lemonade and Peach Tea.
The Tavern on Penn in West Lawn has TOP Cocktails To-Go. This week’s feature is the Cho-Cho Cocktail! Other mixed cocktails (sorry, no martinis) including Coconut Spritzer, Cucumber Collins, Watermelon Chiller and Jacked Up Lemonade are also available. Cocktails come in 16 oz. sealed containers, no straws. Drinks will be served in a carryout tray. 4 – 16 oz. (64 oz.) maximum per transaction.
Trooper Thorn’s in Reading is featuring a frozen Mango Wildberry Margarita while supplies last, as well cocktails options including a 20 oz. Orange Crush, Sangria or Rum Punch.
West Lawn Beverage has 8 slushee flavors ready to celebrate summer, including: Cherry Lime Rita, Peach Mango, Sex on the Beach, Margarita, Blue Razz, Long Island Iced Tea, Jamaican Me Happy and Mike’s Harder Lemonade.
