For 20 years, The Reading Neck and Spine Center has been serving Berks and the surrounding counties with exceptional, state-of-the-art, comprehensive spine care. This includes spinal injections, spinal surgery, diagnostic testing and spine-specialized physical therapy. Each patient has his or her diagnostic images reviewed by a spine specialist to facilitate a patient-centered approach to their treatment plan.
David Abraham, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and is fellowship-trained in spinal surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his surgical internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at The Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his Fellowship in Spinal Surgery at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Dr. Abraham is seriously committed to providing prompt patient services in Berks County. Oftentimes, back pain with or without a pinched nerve can cause severe and excruciating pain mandating prompt medical care! The local emergency room is seldom the proper place for a patient to be evaluated. We are committed to seeing these urgent cases within 48-72 hours! Our hope is to offload emergency room services and improve the patient care experience for these terribly painful conditions. In addition, we do NOT require an MRI to be scheduled and seen at the spine center. Second opinions are encouraged and provided promptly.
