Lisa Kelley, owner of Lisa’s Salon & Spa, is dedicated to bringing quality beauty services to Berks residents – men and women. A Wyomissing native and graduate of Wyomissing Area High School, she attended Berks Vo-tech for cosmetology and later completed a teachers’ program at Pittsburgh Beauty Academy; she earned her degree as an esthetician from Empire Beauty School as well.
After 30 + years in the beauty field, she purchased the salon in which she worked in 2013. Within four years, due to her success, she outgrew the space and in 2017 moved to a larger facility in Wyomissing. In doing so, Kelley doubled her staff – from 12 to 24 – taking on professionals from the former salon that once occupied the space.
The youngest of eight children, Kelley remembers her parents teaching by example, learning from them that anyone can accomplish their dreams if they are willing to put hard work and determination behind something they want badly enough. She says, “I believe my success comes from hard work, dedication, using common sense, surrounding myself with the right professionals, taking some risks, and most of all by truly caring about the people that work for me and wanting the best for everyone!”
