Rachel Eskin launched The Salt Lounge as a short-term escape, self-care provider and health destination to share the benefits of Himalayan salt with Berks County. She was inspired to introduce her community to salt therapy, along with its many applications for physical and mental health, after discovering how effective it was for her own struggle with allergies. As Berks County’s first salt-therapy center owner and after an amazing response from the community, she developed her business further by broadening The Salt Lounge services to include massage, reiki, reflexology, mediation, and yoga classes, making the Salt Lounge an oasis for total mind and body wellness — a place where people can unplug, unwind, and practice the often neglected art of self-care. Rachel is a go-getter entrepreneur who hopes to lead and inspire others to live their dream.
