Stephen T. Gieringer is the Executive Director of Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Berks and also of PHLC, Inc. since Aug. 7, 2017. He passionately orchestrates the home buying experience for first-time home buyers in the low- to moderate-income demographic alongside a 23-person staff. The objective is “to exceed our neighborhoods’ expectations by providing solid, servant leadership that combines a generous spirit with a deep passion for delivering resources to underserved communities.” In October of 2018, Gieringer also took on the role of CEO for Neighborhood Housing Services of the Lehigh Valley, Inc., a regional affordable housing nonprofit that provides home ownership counseling, education, lending and other financial support services.
