Did the ring bearer use the traditional pillow to carry the ring? If not, what method did you incorporate and why? No, Amy wanted to be different. They were considered “ring security” and Amy made boxes that looked like mini briefcases to carry the rings in.
Did the flower girl and ring bearer display looks that resembled the bride and groom? Yes. The flower girls’ dresses matched the bride’s, and the ring bearers’ outfits matched that of the groom and groomsmen. Amy picked the flower girl dresses because she liked that the lace matched her bridal gown, and the full tulle skirt of the dresses gave them a princess look. The ring bearers wore suspenders and bow ties while the groomsmen wore suspenders and neckties.
What type of flower did the flower girl throw and what did she use to hold the flowers? They carried galvanized buckets with light pink rose petals.
How did you incorporate the wedding color scheme into ring bearer’s/flower girl’s attire? The flower girls wore a headband which displayed some pink to match the color scheme. The ring bearers’ outfits matched the groomsmen’s suit colors.
Did the flower girl wear a crown or particular hairstyle? Amy purchased headbands from Target and liked that they weren’t elastic; she thought her 2-year-old niece would like that better. It had flowers, pink and white, so it matched perfectly with the wedding. She let her older niece pick her hairstyle so she was most comfortable.
What style shoes did each wear? Amy let the girls’ moms pick the shoe they would be comfortable in, as long as it matched their dresses. The boys wore brown shoes similar to the groomsmen.
How did the flower girls feel about being asked to participate in the wedding festivities? Very excited! Paisley is older and understood her job. Ezrah just loved the poufy dress and playing with her bucket of flowers.
How did the ring bearers feel about being asked to participate in the wedding festivities? They loved it, too. They were dancing machines, and Jase took his job very seriously and helped Mason down the aisle hand-in-hand.

Did the flower girls display looks that resembled the bride? Yes. Their dresses reflected the same design as the bride’s dress. The color was off-white. The look of the dresses was similar, a lacy design up top and plain tulle at the bottom that went to their feet. The bride selected the girls’ dresses.
What type of flower did the flower girl throw and what did she use to hold the flowers? The flower girls threw red rose petals from their baskets. Their baskets were white and decorated with a sunflower to match the rustic/sunflower theme of the wedding.
How did you incorporate the wedding color scheme into the flower girls’ attire? The bride considered having the flower girls wear a colored sash around their waist and tied in the back to match the color scheme. The sashes that came with their dresses were not the correct shade of burgundy to match the bridesmaid’s dresses, so the bride decided to have the flower girls go without the sashes. The dresses looked beautiful without them!
Did the flower girls wear a crown or particular hairstyle? The flower girls wore their hair down and curled. They had a simple braid with a small strip of hair from the front to the back, to keep their hair out of their face. They then wore a crown of baby’s breath. It looked simple and cute!
What style shoes did each wear?
Both of the flower girls wore simple off-white dress shoes to match the color of their dress. The bride allowed them to wear whatever they were comfortable in. Being comfortable was the main focus. Also, since the dresses went to their feet, their shoes were covered regardless.
How did the flower girls feel about being asked to participate in the wedding festivities?
The bride asked the girls to be flower girls by presenting them with gifts. The gifts were a necklace (to wear on the wedding day) and a wire name hanger (to hang their flower girl dress on). When the bride told them what they were for, both girls were very excited. They smiled ear to ear, jumped up and down, and gave the bride a big hug!
The girls were overjoyed to be flower girls! They were sure to tell numerous people about their upcoming “job” before the event. Everything having to do with them being a flower girl was exciting for them…their dresses, shoes, hairstyle, etc. They were thrilled to get their hair done with the bride and bridesmaids, they were delighted to hang out with the bridal party before the wedding, and they were ecstatic to ride in the limo with the bridal party. The job of being a flower girl made them feel so special. It was definitely a moment in their life that will be memorable!

Did the flower girl and ring bearer display looks that resembled the bride and groom? Yes, the flower girl wore a traditional white dress. The ring bearer wore dress pants with a vest and bow tie, not a full tuxedo.
Did the flower girl’s dress resemble the bride’s? The flower girl’s dress was white like the bride’s; however, her dress was short and the bride’s was long.
What type of flower did the flower girl throw and what did she use to hold the flowers? The flower girl used a basket to throw orange petals from the bride’s/bridesmaids’ bouquets.
How did you incorporate the wedding color scheme into ring bearer’s/flower girl’s attire? The flower girl wore all white and the ring bearer wore a navy bow tie, which matched the bridesmaids’ dresses and the groom’s tie.
Did the flower girl wear a crown or particular hairstyle? The flower girl wore her hair down in curls (because she’s 3 years old and doesn’t have a lot of hair to work with). She wore a flower clip to keep her hair out of her face.
What style shoes did each wear? The flower girl wore white sandals with a flower on them, because the bride didn’t want her walking in heels down the aisle. The ring bearer wore tan dress shoes.
How did the flower girl and ring bearer feel about being asked to participate in the wedding festivities? Chelsea and Holden loved every second about being in their uncle’s wedding, and they were happy to hold hands and walk down the aisle throwing flowers (all in one spot, of course). They both had a wonderful time and are the best of friends. Their favorite part of the wedding was being rewarded with lollipops for a job well done!
